I've decided to make this page for anyone applying for the Spring 2019 ADN program at Lone Star CF/K. I'm so nervous and it's still kinda far away! Good luck!
I just registered and paid for pharmacology online. I live two hours from Houston right now. Are the pharmacology exams held at a testing center or are they taken at home online? I just now thought about that- and should have found out before paying for the class.
if i'm not mistaken, they are done in person at the testing centers. I would check the syllabus for the course. should be posted online now, as classes have already started.

I emailed the instructor this am and she hasn't replied. Also, the class isn't on my d2l which is weird since it started today. I'll check in the morning.
Someone on here told me their hep b titer came back negative and had to redo the series. Someone from the nursing department told me if mine came back negative(which it did, just got that info this morning) that I only have to do the hep b booster and show record of that. So now I have to get that done asap.
If we don't have any charges, do we still have to do it? Where do you go to do it if we still have to?
No. You will have to just get a "blue card." That usually only takes a few weeks. My letter took several months. The blue card is just saying you're cleared for the NCLEX and they will give you instructions on how to get it once you've been accepted.

Ok perfect! Next week they will let us know if we did anything wrong on the application, right?
I'm trying for two BSN programs too. U of H and TWU.
I wish I had found TWU earlier in my search as their program was pretty attractive to me but I also applied for SHSU & UTHealth Houston & after the money spent on testing & transcripts I didn't want to throw more at a TWU application, hopefully it doesn't come back to bite me in the booty!
I was able to take the HESI today at Tomball. It was crazy ya'll people were pushing each other to get in line because they only took the first 12 people!!
I did pretty good for not having studied at all. 93% overall. I just submitted my application, my score is 7.712. I'm really hoping I get in!
Does anyone know how long after the deadline before they start sending acceptance e-mails?
