Spring 2009 Graduating Class

Just wanted to send a prayer of gratitude and good luck to all taking their finals in the next few weeks. I'm finishing up my third semester of a 2 year ADN program, graduating in May 2009! It's so amazing and crazy how quickly it's gone, when I look back at the last year and a half. We've come so far, we can do it! And if no one has told you that they're proud of you today, or if you're feeling down on yourself, I'm proud of you and us! Best of luck in our last semester!!!!!

 I was looking farword to finish by June 2009 but unfortunately those four classes that I have left will take a year to finish as per the Academic Chair. I feel very disappointed because this program will go over two years although some of us started out with an associate degree in Lib. Arts. I feel so frustrated becuase my plans are all shattered. It seems like I will be finished January 2010. I will do boards in February 2010. I am so sad but I guess I have to take whatever they push on us. Next year I have four classes, ten weeks each plus 10 weeks of preceptorship. Go figure!

I will be done the end of the summer, 2009. So not too far behind. But I am only in an LPN program atm, and it will be Dec 2010 before I'm completely finished (well finished enough to be an RN - but then I go on to my BSN/MSN which thankfully I can do online)

Thank you so much!

I can hardly wait. It is pediatrics and leadership for us next semester. I've heard through the grapevine those are hard classes, but I always prefer to think that hundreds upon thousands have passed those courses, so why can't I? At any rate, if all goes well, we'll be done in May! So close, yet it still seems a million miles away.

I graduate August 1, 2009 from an LPN program. It'll be here before I know it, third term starts in about a month!
