2020 Spring Enrollment for Nursing (Hillsborough Community College)

Hello,

I know some of us were discouraged to find out that we didnt get in for Fall. The cut off was the highest theyve ever seen and some were shocked to find out their true pre-req GPA. We have another chance to accomplish our dream of becoming an RN and I am hopeful we will all get in for Spring. Historically it is an easier semester to get into, last GPA cutoff for 2019 Spring was a 3.381 so there is hope. If you dont mind posting GPA and TEAS and when youve submitted the app. Round 2, lets go!

Pre-req GPA- 3.514

They told us at orientation that we do not need to submit that form. We don’t have to do anything regarding the drug screening, the school will automatically get it from the company’s

Monday 1-5pm, Tuesday 9-11 and 12-2pm. And then clinicals on whatever day you have !! 6:30-2:30

Tuesday is 9-11? And then 12-2? They split it up? If you don’t mind sending me a screenshot of your schedule or direct me where you got the info, thank you so much

I’m Cohort 1 and this is my class schedule:

Fund Concepts is NUR practice Monday 8:00-12:00pm

Critical Thinking in NUR practice Tuesday 7:00-9:00am

Essential Concepts of Patient Mgmt Tuesday 9:15-11:15am

Fund Concept if NUR practice Clinicals Wednesday/Thursday 6:30-2:30pm (I’m thinking this is just Wednesday’s for me since that’s the day I was assigned for Clinicals-not Thursday)

Thank you! And Elizabeth I was asking for cohort 2 lol thanks though. So we are enrolling for clinicals even though they start 6 weeks from our start date interesting

Yes, I believe we will still be required to attend class on clinical days, it will just be simulation instead of clinicals. They will probably let us know before classes start.

Can someone in cohort 4 tell me how to get the code for the nursing program and where to look in your HCC account for the date that allows you to register for class?
