I know that it's VERY early right now to start gearing up for the Spring 2016 admission but I thought I'd start this post early seeing as I have already started taking my final classes, preparing to take the Hesi A2 test and submitting all my other documents for the program. If all goes well, I will be between 30 and 34 points. How many points do you think you'll be at when it's time to apply for the 2016 spring entry? What's the lowest score that they have accepted for previous entries? Are there any single mothers, such as I, who will be applying for the nursing program? Hope to hear more from others who are getting ready to join. Would love to get lots of feedback!!!!!
I was shorted 2 points on my Hesi and called the admissions office. They told me the scoring was changed for the point system they used for scoring, but the website and written materials still shows it to be what was communicated in the admissions packet. The shorting of the points caused me to be out of the "range of admittance". Has anyone else encountered this?
I emailed the Dean requesting an appointment, and received an automated response she is out of town until
October 26th. I'm not sure if she is truly out of town, or is not wanting to discuss the situation until next week. I do intend to fight the scoring discrepancy. I'm extremely disappointed and dismayed at the turn of events.

From what I've seen of other previous ECC and NLC nursing program posts, students have had problems with being shorted points or given more points than they thought they had so believe me you are not the first
This was one of a few reasons why I decided to not go through with ECC/NLC nursing program. It seems to be unorganized. Hopefully they will fix this in coming years but who knows... On another note, I am so HAPPY and EXCITED to hear news about those that got in!!!!! Stay the course and finish strong!!!! I'm still trying to get there but I will get there :) I will eventually stop posting on this blog but I will keep in contact with some of you all to see how you all are doing. Good Luck and God Bless!!!
