Spring 2016 El Centro College/ NLC ADN

Published

I know that it's VERY early right now to start gearing up for the Spring 2016 admission but I thought I'd start this post early seeing as I have already started taking my final classes, preparing to take the Hesi A2 test and submitting all my other documents for the program. If all goes well, I will be between 30 and 34 points. How many points do you think you'll be at when it's time to apply for the 2016 spring entry? What's the lowest score that they have accepted for previous entries? Are there any single mothers, such as I, who will be applying for the nursing program? Hope to hear more from others who are getting ready to join. Would love to get lots of feedback!!!!!

I'm so nervous it is all I can think about!

I'm begging time to go faster :cheeky:

Seriously every time I think about it I want to throw up...!

Me too. I really hope we get our letters before Monday!

I called ELC and they told me the letters will be mailed on Thursday, October 15th. The suspense is killing me!

I was going to apply to Brookhaven as well, but I miss understood the the requirement of having to take the dosage calculation exam and score a 90 on. I didn't know it was an entire semester course. So, I guess I could have not gone to Vegas and gone to take the exam, but I chose Vegas.

I also applied to ECC Methodist program. Good Luck to everyone.

Good luck to you guys, and I totally understand how y'all feel right now!😊 take a deep breath, and get ready for the task ahead!

For the most part, things are going well for now. It gets more harder each passing day.😊

I thought the dosage exam was just a self taught course and you just take the test when you are ready on a open slot test day? You said it was a semester course??? I plan on applying to BHC for Fall

It is the 15th you guys. Good luck to all

Yes its a course that lasts a few weeks. which is why I wasn't able to apply to BHC. It is under the continuing education department. I was under the same impression.....which is what screwed me up. I am pretty good at dosage calculations, drip rate I might need a little refresher, but I don't need an entire course that's a few weeks. Good Luck.
