Spring 2016 El Centro College/ NLC ADN

I know that it's VERY early right now to start gearing up for the Spring 2016 admission but I thought I'd start this post early seeing as I have already started taking my final classes, preparing to take the Hesi A2 test and submitting all my other documents for the program. If all goes well, I will be between 30 and 34 points. How many points do you think you'll be at when it's time to apply for the 2016 spring entry? What's the lowest score that they have accepted for previous entries? Are there any single mothers, such as I, who will be applying for the nursing program? Hope to hear more from others who are getting ready to join. Would love to get lots of feedback!!!!!

A lot of my previously completed classes were not on the extra point list. I am not going to hold my breath, but it is worth a shot to apply!

Good luck to everyone applying. I am starting at the North Lake campus this fall and I got accepted with 26 points and cumulative Hesi score of 418. I got denied at first but was called back when someone declined their spot. Just FYI always keep up with your points yourself because they screwed up my points initially by giving me 23 points when I had 26 points. When the Dean was telling me why I didn't get accepted at first, I caught their mistake and pointed it out to her and that was how I got a shot to get in. If I hadn't gone to her office to retrieve my packet and noticed their mistake, I wouldn't have been starting this fall. I would have applied all over again anyway, So good luck to all.

I believe they take 60 at El Centro and 60 at Northlake.

Hi guys so I have made the decision to apply in November because of my hesi scores. I couldnt find anywhere to take the hesi test again and I missed Grayson hesi test because i was out of town.I think its best for me. Also classes i am taking during the summer will count. So goodluck to everyone. I hope you all get in and i look forward to meeting you all one day.

Well the waiting begins!!!! Until then, I suggest talking to those who are already in the program. Lnduke81 is a good person to talk to you if you need advice but there are others here as well. It is very stressful even in the beginning of the program but I know all who get it will make it. I just want to let you all know that I'm proud of those who are going in this semester and even those who have decided to wait until later. Or completely change majors (such as myself). Whatever your path or desire to do has taken you continue and finish the fight to get there okay? I can't wait to see who gets in. Until then, stay up you guys!!! :)

I did terrible on the anatomy Hesi part but I passed all the other parts....This sucks so now I have to find somewhere else to retake it.

i took that test 5 times because of AP!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally made a 88! jeez! Every time it was different!
