I know that it's VERY early right now to start gearing up for the Spring 2016 admission but I thought I'd start this post early seeing as I have already started taking my final classes, preparing to take the Hesi A2 test and submitting all my other documents for the program. If all goes well, I will be between 30 and 34 points. How many points do you think you'll be at when it's time to apply for the 2016 spring entry? What's the lowest score that they have accepted for previous entries? Are there any single mothers, such as I, who will be applying for the nursing program? Hope to hear more from others who are getting ready to join. Would love to get lots of feedback!!!!!
I hope that Sentry is aware of the deadline and will try to make sure they get through all the emails. I spoke with rep from El Centro and they advised it make the process longer when students email more than once the same information. I'm kind of nervous myself about my paperwork being in on time but I will just hope for the best
I emailed [email protected] and got this response:
Hello Torie,
Yes, as long as you submitted your documents prior to the deadline, the date they finish processing will not affect you. The processing time takes 7 to 10 business days as stated on the forms, once your documents are reviewed we will email you your current status.
so everyone can take a breath!
Hello everyone!!!! y'all calm down!! Everything will be okay, it is a nervous wreck from here on out! LOL. I applied for Fall 2015 and got accepted with 27 points! All of my shots and things were done at last minute and I was totally freaking out. Now that I am in the program, I am still in a nervous wreck LOL. It never ends! Just breathe and trust me everything will fall into place! The hardest part was WAITING!!!!!!!!!! ugh
Most seemed to be 1st semester stuff. Some of the major bones, different planes (transverse, etc). Nothing too detailed. But I did get a few questions on the reproductive system as well. Thankfully I just finished A&P 2 and that was our last section, so it was semi fresh in my mind. I think most of those were female related. I don't remember getting any questions on the male reproductive system. Of course they may draw from hundreds of questions, so who knows. Just do your best at eliminating obvious wrong answers. Even questions I didn't know, I was able to narrow it to 2 possible answers. Good luck!
