Spring 2016 El Centro College/ NLC ADN

Published

I know that it's VERY early right now to start gearing up for the Spring 2016 admission but I thought I'd start this post early seeing as I have already started taking my final classes, preparing to take the Hesi A2 test and submitting all my other documents for the program. If all goes well, I will be between 30 and 34 points. How many points do you think you'll be at when it's time to apply for the 2016 spring entry? What's the lowest score that they have accepted for previous entries? Are there any single mothers, such as I, who will be applying for the nursing program? Hope to hear more from others who are getting ready to join. Would love to get lots of feedback!!!!!

I feel sad...do you necessarily need those transcripts

From what the packet says I have to turn all my transcripts in from all colleges. I guess DeVry is considered as a university even though it's like a private school so yeah. I even sent an email to Pam Farley and called RonChelle Kelly back and was told pretty much the same thing but I'm still gonna pray about it and turn in everything and the only thing I can do is give it God.

Hey guys!!! I have a question. For the Hesi transcript, are we supposed to get it mailed/emailed to el centro from the Evolve website? or are we supposed to get it mailed or emailed to us and then add it to the application packet?

I had to drop history because 2 fast tracks and keeping up with my one year old was too much. So ill be applying to my bridge with 29 points. I hope that drop doesn't cost me acceptance! If I am accepted the wee one will go to daycare so ill be able to study with a full load but online plus mommy all day wasn't working. I'm praying!

@gabbersrocks - I think you include a copy of the results in your packet.

Does anyone know the lowest points accepted for last semester? I'm going in with 28 - I'm feeling nervous about it.

Hello how many days does it take for the sentry people to reply??? I sent my documents yesterday and waiting 4 their reply. After how many days can I send back my documents again if I didnt get any response from them??

Hey yankee! I got accepted with 26points, but then I've taken almost all the classes for the BSN. So you have hope of getting accepted. Just make sure you get cleared with sentry. And everything is up to date. I start this fall though.....

Good luck to everyone! :-)

Greetings everybody! So it is with a heavy heart that I let you guys know. I failed my HESI again. I have also decided to change my major to psychology to get me closer to a master's degree for physician assistant. I am closer to getting my psych degree than I am my nursing degree. I didn't come to that decision lightly as you all know I wanted to become a nurse, however, I had to look at how much time I have and I want to have some things done before 30 and at this point, I wasn't going to have my nursing done before 30. I want something completed so I am taking that route. However, I will still continue to answer questions on here if anybody needs advice about what's on the HESI and I also would like to keep up with acceptances (I can't wait to see who gets in!) I'm proud of all of you on here and don't give up. I haven't....I just had to change up some stuff but I'm still in the game. Be blessed!!!!

Hello,

I am waiting for a response from sentry MD. I sent my docs on Sunday and resend it today again. Do u guys know how many days does it take to process those docs and send me a confirmation??? I am very worried as the deadline is july 15. What do u I recommend??

I sent mine last Friday and still have not heard anything back.

The first time i sent my docs they responded the next day and the second time they replied in the same day.

I sent mine last Friday and still have not heard anything back.

It could be they are getting backlogged and responses are taking longer now that the deadline is getting closer.
