I know that it's VERY early right now to start gearing up for the Spring 2016 admission but I thought I'd start this post early seeing as I have already started taking my final classes, preparing to take the Hesi A2 test and submitting all my other documents for the program. If all goes well, I will be between 30 and 34 points. How many points do you think you'll be at when it's time to apply for the 2016 spring entry? What's the lowest score that they have accepted for previous entries? Are there any single mothers, such as I, who will be applying for the nursing program? Hope to hear more from others who are getting ready to join. Would love to get lots of feedback!!!!!
I am a single Mom and have taken all the science and prerequisite classes, as well as 8 BS/BSN classes (history, govt, speech, sociology, etc) and the max support classes I can at this point. I've taken the Hesi, both HPRS classes (1202,1204) and have a 4.0 GPA. I'm hoping to get in with a 29. I still need to take College Algebra, humanities, and get the school to accept my advanced writing classes as a substitute for Comp II and a previous statistics class from my MBA program. I was hoping a maxed out GPA would pull more weight than it does, but the number of classes you've taken previously towards a BS degree has greater weight. Sigh! Good Luck with your application.
