Spring 2016 El Centro College/ NLC ADN

Published

I know that it's VERY early right now to start gearing up for the Spring 2016 admission but I thought I'd start this post early seeing as I have already started taking my final classes, preparing to take the Hesi A2 test and submitting all my other documents for the program. If all goes well, I will be between 30 and 34 points. How many points do you think you'll be at when it's time to apply for the 2016 spring entry? What's the lowest score that they have accepted for previous entries? Are there any single mothers, such as I, who will be applying for the nursing program? Hope to hear more from others who are getting ready to join. Would love to get lots of feedback!!!!!

I also got an email from sentry about needing a 2nd Hep A. Ugh.

I got it taken care of at work at sent in the forms today. The good news is that sentry seems to be processing fairly quickly right now- I heard back in 1 business day.

Hey Guys

I emailed the health occupations office today and they said the application packet will be updated on their website next week....Hope this relieves some of your anxiety!

I thought we only needed the first shot of Hep A to apply then get the rest before clinicals.

About time they updated!

@chief76 alot of things. Well at least i get points for those hprs classes.

What else has changed on the spring 2016 packet? I'm too anxious to wait until next week!

@miss_kingslayer That's all I see for right now. I don't seen any other immediate change except the SCIT classes that won't be accepted and HPRS 1204 and 1202 aren't required anymore. If I do spot anymore, I will certainly post them on here.

That is what I thought as well. But my first Hep A was in 2012- Im sure if it was recent I would be ok as long as I got the 2nd within 6 months.

I got the hep a before 2012...so do i need to go get the next one before i apply

I have titers for my most of my shots so I'm not really sure about the time limit. I would definitely email RonChelle Kelly or Pam Farley.

All the info is on the Sentry paperwork. Its does say titers are ok :-)

They need to tell the sentry people that.....my application says incomplete because of that. I got a 2nd Hep A to fix it.
