Spring 2016 El Centro College/ NLC ADN

Published

I know that it's VERY early right now to start gearing up for the Spring 2016 admission but I thought I'd start this post early seeing as I have already started taking my final classes, preparing to take the Hesi A2 test and submitting all my other documents for the program. If all goes well, I will be between 30 and 34 points. How many points do you think you'll be at when it's time to apply for the 2016 spring entry? What's the lowest score that they have accepted for previous entries? Are there any single mothers, such as I, who will be applying for the nursing program? Hope to hear more from others who are getting ready to join. Would love to get lots of feedback!!!!!

I scanned them to my computer

Nevermind, Im a dope.

I got confused because I know Im suppose topick the $15 option but it was below the other option.

OK, so I attach the receipt to my application, right? Anyone know any easy ways to make all the seperate forms into ONE pdf?

I was wondering about this Sentry MD process as well. I just paid my $15 via Paypal. So we can submit the 4 page Immunization forms along with copies of our CPR card and insurance coverage? I guess I am just wondering how they (Sentry MD) knows we paid. It doesn't exactly give you a login ID or anything. El Centro's website just says to email Sentry MD the documents in one pdf file after we have paid. I guess they just associate your name or email address you have in Paypal...

Anyways, I'm taking my CPR class tomorrow and will probably submit my documents this weekend or Monday.

I think Sentrymd is such a pain and i havent paid anything yet smh...

You include your receipt along with your documents.

I found their process rather simple. That being said, I submitted three sets of documents before receiving the final confirmation email.

i received a response within 2 days on my first submission. I received immediate responses on my 2nd & 3rd submissions.

I suggest not waiting to start this process, because when they get busy, it may very well take 7-10 days to get a response & no one needs the aggravation.

Yankee77- I thought it says to submit everything as one pdf attachment?

It's just kinda frustrating when any little thing can disqualify you. Any who, Ill be working on mine this weekend when I have time to get it all complete.

Yes, you need to submit documentation as one pdf, but that doesn't mean you can only submit documents once. I decided to submit everything i had prior to my doctors visit, in case I needed additional shots.

I completed my CPR certification this morning and just sent all my documentation to Sentry MD. Fingers crossed that everything comes out ok.

The only concern I have is the Varicella titer. My lab just gives either a negative or positive value, not numeric. My doctor did include an email he sent to the lab inquiring about this. They responded back with the range that positive or negative would fall under (positive above 165, and negative below 135). Hopefully this is sufficient. Like I say....fingers crossed.

Sure!

I googled "convert images to pdf" and the first website thats comes up- Convert JPG to PDF for free - JPG to PDF online converter

It looks shady at first but it took maybe a minute and I didnt have to sign up for anything- super easy! Just scroll towards the middle of the screen to "select JPG files" and get started :-)
