Spring 2016 El Centro College/ NLC ADN

Published

I know that it's VERY early right now to start gearing up for the Spring 2016 admission but I thought I'd start this post early seeing as I have already started taking my final classes, preparing to take the Hesi A2 test and submitting all my other documents for the program. If all goes well, I will be between 30 and 34 points. How many points do you think you'll be at when it's time to apply for the 2016 spring entry? What's the lowest score that they have accepted for previous entries? Are there any single mothers, such as I, who will be applying for the nursing program? Hope to hear more from others who are getting ready to join. Would love to get lots of feedback!!!!!

Im retaking my hesi at el centro.

Hey you all. Hope everything has been going well with gathering your materials together for the deadine. I just wanted to keep you all on alert that there has been a change to the anatomy and physiology requirement after Fall 2015 for the Spring 2016 entry. Starting Fall 2015, Biol 2401 and 2402 will be the ONLY anatomy and physiology classes accepted. Scit 1407 and 1408 will no longer be accepted UNLESS you took both before Fall 2015 and they do not expire 5 years before your spring 2016 entry. If you did then they are under the 5 year limit. However, if your scit classes were taken before spring 2011, then they have expired at this point. You will need to take Biol 2401 and 2402. Keep in mind that Biol 1406 is the prerequisite to Biol 2401, which means 3 classes altogether. If you all have any questions, don't hesitate to hit me up here. Talk to you soon!!!

Wow!! I'm glad I got those two courses out of the way. Where did you hear about them doing this?

Thanks for the info!!

Ive been keeping up with a few of the newly accepted students for fall 2015 On their facebook group and one student indicated they were making tge change. El centro has not posted 2016 packet yet but i saw methodist/el centro packet and it is there. Im under that 5 year limit so i gotta get in this year lol

Hi, I was just strolling through and ran accross this comment. My question to you is, is spring 2016 the last class that can get in with SCIT 1407 and 1408 or can I get in fall 2016 with a completed 1407 and 1408?

You can get in if you have both classes completed before Fall 2015.

Thank you so much Dereka!!!

You are very welcome.

shauntil07- How were you able to book your HESI with el centro? I've been looking everyday and the spots are all full :-(

@PD82, Email them at [email protected]. I was able to get pre approved for a spot due to this being a retest. The next date open for hesi is july 14,15,16 and thats through north lake college. Their registration date is sometime later on this month. As far as the scit classes are concerned, they had to have been taken before fall 2015 so if you take it this summer, this would be the last semester from which scit classes would be accepted, however it becomes part of the 5 year limit. For example, i took scit 1407 in spring 2012. That means that if I didn't get accepted this time for spring 2016 I have until spring 2017 to apply and get in before they expire. If not then i would have to start over and take the biology classes.

Can anyone tell me how this sentrymd site works??

I followed the link via the el centro site, paid my $15 and it sent me a receipt from paypal. Thats it. Nothing else.

How do I access the application form I just paid for?!

Nevermind, Im a dope.

I got confused because I know Im suppose topick the $15 option but it was below the other option.

OK, so I attach the receipt to my application, right? Anyone know any easy ways to make all the seperate forms into ONE pdf?
