Ill be finishing my AA if i dont get in.. so i will apply again if that happens but fingers crossed it wont! 3.766 gpa for application.. are you all excited?! Congrats to who got in last semester by the way! What how do you all feel at this point in time? Im feeling a huge accomplishment coming! --
i think that's its wonderful that your company did that. Not many do. At the end of the day you have to do what is right for you and your future career. Sure it may make you feel better by delaying the outcome of you quitting by 4 months but in the big picture will it really matter?
My company has been well aware of my path to my new career but then again they have to be for scheduling issues.
In the end take a step back and look at the overall picture and do what is right for you. It's not being selfish at this point at all. You worked hard for it it. Why not take it when its offered?

I don't know your tenure, or what you do for work.
This is to say, working is not entirely impossible during the RN program.
A quick trip to the HEC will confirm this. Some students do not have a choice in regards to such matters.
I also do not know your financial situation in regards to sustainable living.
Perhaps you can work (x) amount of hours comfortably, as well as, attend the RN program, i.e, with the allotted option of choosing nights over days.
Best advice, do not let someone tell you something is impossible.
I'm a former Infantryman with a GED. Now I'm a 4.0 applicant, as well as, a staff OPS tutor for Micro, and A&PI,II at SPC.
I will also be working during Nursing 1 at the NIP center at HEC tutoring A&P.
You got this.
