I wish I could find a site that had some spanish for nurses, just some basic phrases such as "breath normal", "turn to left side". Just stuff to get by with while doing a fast assessment or getting them settled into the dr office. Anyone know of a site like that?

Nothing free, but Rio Salado college has a two-class series on Spanish for health care workers. It's a fully online community college in Phoenix, AZ, and anyone can take classes. I don't know what nonresident tuition is.

Just looking for this online yesterday, but could find nothing that was free. Majority of listings for immersion programs out of country with airfare and living expenses extra! I can immerse in my own workplace for free!

are only $ 5-10 on amazon.
Quite some time back I bought a nifty Spanish-English medical dictionary but actually have never had occasion to use it.

Type in the phrase "English to Spanish translation" into Google and hit search. You'll instantly find a text box that allows you to type in the English phrase and it gives you the Spanish phrase.
It's free. It's easy. We use it all the time on our unit. It works at least 95% of the time for everyday conversation, and works about 75% of the time for purely medical terms.

ThatBigGuy beat me to it - Google has a translate function. You don't even have to use the phrase he mentioned just go to Google and select the translate option.

Be really careful using online translators like Google. Often, the translation can be inaccurate to just plain wrong.
