hi guys. I'm applying to accelerated nursing programs and I'm desperate for some thoughts:
I withdrew from a Microbiology class this semester and I am contemplating withdrawing from my Chemistry and Chemistry Lab this semester too. How bad will this look?? 3 W's in 1 semester? (I have 2 other W like 2 years ago in a religion and Biology class) Most of the schools I'm applying to, don't even require chemistry. Do they really look at the overall GPA or just the performance in the specific pre-requisites? SOS! HELP!

Youll have to look to published literature from the particular schools you are applying. The school I went to really only focused on my prerequisite GPA, rather than overall GPA. Though other schools on my area put some weight on cumulative GPA and other metrics.
what should I do if some don't specify?

Why are you withdrawing? Is it because you're making a B instead of an A or a C instead of an A.

Call them and find out. Every school calculates eligibility differently. Ws can be very bad, or not matter at all. And some schools average the grades of both attempts when a class is retaken.
