Song lyrics that remind you of nursing...

Nurses Humor

Published

Every so often I'll hear lyrics on songs on the radio that remind me of nursing... Here's a couple of examples I've heard on the radio recently, unfortunately I can't remember who sings either of 'em...:monkeydance:

"I am barely breathing, and I can't find the air..."

"I have become, comfortably numb..."

Anyone got any more?

"Boogie Fever" Don't remember who sang it.

I have no idea why, but every single freaking time I am at work, at some point I get the song "yellow submarine" stuck in my head.

Okay, more heavy than funny, but My Chemical Romance's "Welcome to the Black Parade"

"Son when

You grow up,

Would you be

The saviour of the broken,

The beaten and the damned?"

Sounds like nursing to me!

OldPhatMC sends...

I totally agree with you on this one...Also MCR's "Cancer". Its very sad but reminds me of the some of the pts that I took care of at the VA

Some that I already have:

Head Like a Hole - Nine Inch Nails

What a song for nurses... "head like a hole, black as your soul, I'd rather die than give you control." That pretty much sums up ICU nurses. ;)
