So today was a typical day at my LTC facility. Lunch time was crazy so one person wen t and got lunch for several peoplce, me and the RN supervisor at at the nurses desk and workedas we ate. We them got up to leave the unit for a moment then returnced back the des k. We took at drink of our cokes ansomeone had put SOAP in our drinks!! OOMG we were so ******. I have no proof but I do think one certain employee did it to be spiteful! I

Actually this is battery and could result in serious jail time for whoever did this if it could be proven. I hope you and your coworker are ok.

Someone I know did the Exlax-thing made up some in some food. The target was the culprit eating everyone's lunches in the employee refrigerator.

Well, it worked of course. The idiot stealing food got it. Made them really, really sick. They tried pressing charges. I can only say it was a real mess for about a year.

The only thing that saved the prankster was that it could not be proven that the action was intentional. The court decided that it was the fault of the person that ate the meal that didn't belong to them.

It seemed like a funny thing to do at the time. I mean, who hasn't had something disappear from the refrigerator, right? But when all was said and done it cost about $12,000.00 in legal fees.

Oy vey. People could die from games like this.....

The more I think on this, you really should contact corporate/hospital security and report this incident.

They will come and intervew all involved. At the very least it will put the fear of god into all involved such that it will not happen again.

Maybe you should post an article about how dangerous it is to ingest soap (if it was just a prank). Something that could cause bodily harm should not be considered a prank in my opinion.

Although the person that put ex-lax in their own lunch, that was funny. Anyone who would steal someone else's lunch deserves what they get! It amazes me that someone who would make a career out of helping others would steal from their coworkers!

I was watching a reality television show several years ago regarding the crazy stuff regularly captured by hidden cameras.

A disgruntled employee was angry at his boss, so he prepared the coffee for the office one morning because he knew that the boss was a coffee drinker. The disgruntled employee urinated in a cup, poured it into the coffee maker, added some water, and brewed a full pot of coffee. The taped footage captured the devious act. I also watched as the unsuspecting boss drank at least two cups of coffee. I suppose he could not taste the pee.

I also watched an episode of Forensic Files about an office water cooler that was laced with cyanide. The estranged husband of one of the employees wanted her dead, and had hoped that she would drink the water during the course of the day. Her coworker ended up dead fairly soon after ingesting a glass of water.
