I took the NCLEX today. It shut off at 75.
That's good, right?
I would know if I failed, right?
I'm going crazy waiting and I'm about to cry, because I already have a job and the thought of having to go to them and tell them that I failed is so unbearable!
Please give me information!!!!!! :smackingf

Relax!!! Shutting off at 75 does not mean you passed or failed, it means that you got enough right or too many wrong. No way to know until you get the results.
I know, no consolation, but all you can do is wait.

I can't say relax because I'll be you in a few days. But think positive.

I took the NCLEX almost 1 year ago ...when it shut off at 75 I just knew I had failed....panic....and I did cry. Thankfully I did pass. The best advice I've heard is if the questions got progressively harder you probably passed. Good luck!

I've never heard of anyone coming out of NCLEX thinking they've passed. You will just have to wait and see. Don't believe someone when they tell you that all people who cut off at 75 pass. That's just not true!

Even with the 2 day written exams - (4 exams total) - You didn't know if you passed or failed.....Atleast that was how it was back in 1994
Yeah, but on those tests there was no stopping at a certain number....we had to finished the entire exam, every question!!!
Not to mention waiting 12 weeks for our results.............and today's newbies think they have it rough........

Hey LilPeanut!
Congrats on taking the exam! I procrastinated for 3 months and took it on the very last day allowed.
Anyway, not to perpetuate a myth here but, what were the last types of questions that you had on the exam?

you have done your best in taking the test, now put everything in his hand trough prayers.... god bless you :) always remember his word:

If you think that your answer on the last question was right then you probably passed. Think positive I took last Oct 2006 and I also feel the same way I waited for a month for the results and the waiting time is the most horrible part anyway i did passed and you will also.
Good luck

The waiting is the worst but relax you are now on THIS side of the NCLEX. You will find out soon enough. Remain positive hon you have no reason not too eh? Cheers
