I'm working noc shift on 12/24, 12/25, and 12/26.
anyone else working crazy hours like these? How are you spending holidays with your families while working?
We are doing our family get-togethers on different days. Doesn't bother me one bit that I have to work. We get 2.5x our hourly rate for Christmas day work.. CHA-CHING!
Happy Holidays,

I am! My family is coming down Christmas Day, but I am working Christmas Eve. We on shift are all cooking and experimenting with a "Turducken". None of us has had one before. It should be a Merry Christmas, which I hope you all have!

I'm working the full holidays at night too. But we only get paid for part of the shift as holiday pay and that is only 1.5 pay. Instead of getting 24 hours holiday, we get 17. Hospital math. If I did my drug calculations like them.....

Good Luck with the Turducken.......................My sister fixed one of those last year for Thanksgiving; she said some people liked it and some people didn't.
I'm off work.......................I'm collecting Unemployment benefits.

I work evenings, and I'm working Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. I get extra PTO for working the holidays, but no extra pay.

Workin nights tonight (23rd) then 1500-2300 24th and 1900-0330 or 1500-2300 (my choice) the 25th! Sacrificing most family gatherings, only get to attend 1/4. I just want to take all gifts back and forget this xmas ever occurred. Only xmas I'm looking forward to is the one with my mom, dad, bro, and sis!
HAVE A WONDERFUL HOLIDAY SEASON EVERYONE!
