So I start clinical very soon and I see many girls in my classroom wearing sneakers and clogs ! My friend who is a nurse already tells me not to wear sneakers your feet sweat and your running around a lot ! Any opinions ??????
Your feet are very important. Do not skimp on the shoes. You need lots of support for all those hours on your feet.I wear New Balance. Expensive but worth it.Also wear support hose. They will make a world of difference.
I bought some dr. Scholls walking shoes from Walmart that came with insoles..... They are more comfortable than the new balance I had originally planned on buying. I stood in them & walked around once I got them home. I saved about $30 going that route.
I have been wearing sneakers for years because of lower cost and availability. I can toss them into the washer, whereas I couldn't do that with leather nursing shoes.

Another good reason why I wear sneakers! Thanks for reminding me.
