Hello everyone!!

I just wanted to start a thread for the Spring 2020 term at SMU because I know applications are due soon (July 1st), feel free to drop your stats and all of that good stuff!

What our schedule looked like as J1.
Monday: Health assessment
Tuesday: Lab
Wednesday: Pathopharmacology and Mental health
Thursday: off
Friday: clinicals 7-3 pm.

When you’re getting ready to register, make sure you register right at the time it opens so that you can get your first pick. There are morning and afternoon classes so you can choose. It’s up to you.

Our semester we didn’t have weekend clinicals, but this semester for the J1’s, they did have weekend clinicals so it sounds like they’re changing things.

Our latest class was until 3:50. Classes never go past 4 pm!! Clinicals however, you can be there until 11 pm. (Not often though because clinical instructors also want to go home so if you have night shift, they’ll usually let you leave around 9).

I am from Roseville and will be commuting so I would love to have carpool buddies. I know @cmerenda will be commuting as well! If we could all have the same schedule that would be so helpful!

Thank you for replying! We can definitely work something out and hopefully @cmerenda can join us! It will definitely lighten the load of putting mileage on our cars, help save gas money, resting on the road!

I believe in our earlier posts someone said it was about 130-140 or more applicants
