Hello everyone!!
I just wanted to start a thread for the Spring 2020 term at SMU because I know applications are due soon (July 1st), feel free to drop your stats and all of that good stuff!
Just now, Keosha -BSN said:Yeah I got rid of FB a long long time ago. N didnt plan on making a new one. So i feel as long as we all communicate here is good too!! And thank you for the info. Where at on the account? Are you talking about the SMU app in the mysmu n the scholarship website there?
Correct it says smu scholarships and it takes you to the page. I planned on unfollowing this thread but I’ll keep it on just in case. Look forward to meeting everyone Jan 6.

Not from that application yet, I just haven’t had time to do the essay on it that asks you to tell about yourself I believe. But I plan on getting to it sometime soon
Hello Everyone,
My name is Yeshi. I recently got enrolled into BSN spring 2020 semester at SMU from the waitlist. And I have register for the classes that are shown as schedule on the SMU website for the junior 1 to be taken. However, there are two classes which I am facing clashes of time which is Introduction to Nursing and the Health Assessment I. Both classes are available only for noon on Monday. And other class that I have taken is Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing which is available in the morning. So in total I have three classes on Monday. I am confused and not knowing what to do.
If anybody have any idea whom should I contact to make an adjustment in the schedule please let me know.
Another question is once you submitted the tuition deposit of $350. Do we have to get a mail from the SMU about the next follow up? Or we just have to submit it by ourselves through online?
Looking forward to hear your suggestions and advise based on prior experience.
With regards
Yeshi
Hi Yeshi,
The Intro to nursing class is only a month long, and if you look at the dates each class is offered they actually won’t conflict. As for clinical, we will have them I believe as our lab portion for mental health but our clinical times and locations have not yet been assigned. I believe they should be assigning them by mid December.
Congratulations on your acceptance! Looking forward to meeting you!

There’s a link for scholarships on your SMU account. And by important I mean we basically share the same information we do on here, or were sharing on here. I didn’t have a Fb either but I made one just for that. Typically it’s questions about requirements or registering. It’s been pretty slow lately though. There is also a senior at SMU on there to help with questions as well. I mean you can definitely get by without adding it
