I was number 1.0 on the waitlist.

Oh my goodness! That is right, sorry i forgot that you previously posted on here. (The other Brianna lol) Well I’m so happy for you. Did they let you know this morning?

If you’re in the top 10, do you think you’ll get in?

I hope so! Does anyone know typically how many people on average get moved up from the waitlist ? I know it depends but any idea?

Hi Everyone,

Is anyone here from Sacramento, CA?
I was talking to Sash and Pao on Instagram (who are second semester SMU students) and one commutes from Woodland, CA with another fellow student.

I was considering if anyone would want to commute together (at least for the first semester??)

I asked for schedule outcomes and this is what Sash and Pao shared:

What our schedule looked like as J1.
Monday: Health assessment
Tuesday: Lab
Wednesday: Pathopharmacology and Mental health
Thursday: off
Friday: clinicals 7-3 pm.

When you’re getting ready to register, make sure you register right at the time it opens so that you can get your first pick. There are morning and afternoon classes so you can choose. It’s up to you.

Our semester we didn’t have weekend clinicals, but this semester for the J1’s, they did have weekend clinicals so it sounds like they’re changing things.

Our latest class was until 3:50. Classes never go past 4 pm!! Clinicals however, you can be there until 11 pm. (Not often though because clinical instructors also want to go home so if you have night shift, they’ll usually let you leave around 9).
