Which one is best to wear to a job interview?

Either is acceptable. Pick the one you look best in and feel most comfortable in. You will look and feel more confident in your interview if you are comfortable.

Ditto the above. For me it is the pantsuit.

If you go with the skirt wear pantyhose......there is a special place in hell for whoever invented them! I hate them...;)

I have always said "skirt," but lately I've started to reconsider and figure that if pantsuits are dressy and professional enough for world leaders on the international stage (Hillary Clinton, Angela Merkel, et al.), they're probably good enough for a job interview ... :)

Specializes in ER, OR, PACU, TELE, CATH LAB, OPEN HEART.

As long as you look professional, neat, and clean, minimal classic jewelry, neat hairstyle, and conservative make-up, then either is fine. NO scuffed or extreme shoes! Good Luck.

... as long as the pants aren't too tight and/or too casual looking.

In the past, I haven't even gone with suit. Usually a nice blouse and pants. It's what the managers at the hospitals are usually wearing. It's a hospital, not a law firm.

Yes, of course -- I meant the "female world leader" type dressy pantsuit.

Specializes in EC, IMU, LTAC.

If you wear a skirtsuit, make sure you're not wearing 6 inch heels and a skirt to match! Modesty is a virtue when trying to dress professionally.
