Hi guys, I couldn't find a thread for the Fall 2016 program so I thought I would make one! It'll be awesome to meet people who are applying to the same nursing program! It would also be nice to get a general idea of this semester's applicant pool since I'm pretty sure everyone is quite nervous!
I believe that Fall 2015 cut-off score was 7.25 and in Spring 2016, students were accepted with 7.0 impaction score. So I have no idea if it will increase or decrease this time around, but it might be closer to the previous Fall semester...
Nothing on my end. I guess it would be tomorrow then. Seriously though, they're cutting it really close. Have to say, I'm going to SFSU. I can't wait for the SJSU results. Too bad the decision was made by default. Good luck everyone!
Hi guys, so I called the Nursing School today and I talked to a very lovely lady who apologized for the delay and the immense amount of waiting they have made us go through! But she said they will send it today and that it will be sent through Nursing CAS and our emails... Goodluck guys!

Well, I just formally got my rejection email. I was told the initial cut off was 7.37, a really high cut off! I am going to study study study for the Teas and retake it, and apply in the spring. Congrats to all you those who got in!
I've been told that I would be on the pending list. I talked to the adviser and she stated that she only wanted to send out 52 acceptance letters at the start (don't worry, it's still 60 who gets accepted) because she didn't want to have to recall an acceptance letter if there was a mistake (ex. if someone had the wrong grade on their application and they were actually one of the top 60) so it is safer to just wait for the first 2 weeks for the 52 to either decline/accept and for any errors to be resolved. I was told they would have everything sorted out (most likely) by mid-May.

Has anyone tried contacting the nursing department to see if they will let us know by tomorrow?
