  1. I emailed her and she said "Not yet- should be coming in the next 10 days or so."
  2. I got accepted!! For those who are wondering, I have a 3.5 (since AP English doesn't count) in my prereqs: A Comm Ap English A Anatomy B Physio B Micro A Stats A Crit Thinking and a 88.7% on my TEAS V
  3. If you are sure that you do not want to attend SJSU, it would be kind if you tell the nursing department that you are declining your spot. It's polite to let them know UNLESS you are unsure (maybe waiting on other acceptance letters). It just makes it more convenient for the nursing department.
  4. @Ladybug626 Have you heard anything from Sacramento State yet? I've been waiting but never got anything from them. Or when are they planning on sending out the rejection/acceptance letters?
  5. @thao22 Oh actually that was a mistake. Apparently Ap scores are NOT counted in the prerequisite gpa so that dropped my score lower so I have a lower score than yours.
  6. @thao22 It should have said provisional acceptance because you still have a few steps to complete before you are completely qualified. That means you have a reserved spot in the nursing program until you finish the remaining steps (ex. background check, drug screening, shots, physical exam, etc). You can lose this spot if you don't finish the remaining steps! Not sure if that's that Next Steps email you were talking about since I haven't been accepted but there is also a Next Steps orientation for transfer students so I'm a little confused if the Next Steps you are talking about is post-acceptance to nursing program.
  7. @sara1014 I received a email saying that I was in the 53-60 group but not the exact number.
  8. @thao22 My e-mail says "The cutoff impaction score this first round for this pool only was ~7.46." This leads me to believe that the 52 who had those scores were accepted but a few must have declined, allowing students with lower scores to be accepted.
  9. Got an email saying that the impaction cutoff score was at 7.46. I'm probably the last person on that pending list =x
  10. Did you get accepted?
  11. I've been told that I would be on the pending list. I talked to the adviser and she stated that she only wanted to send out 52 acceptance letters at the start (don't worry, it's still 60 who gets accepted) because she didn't want to have to recall an acceptance letter if there was a mistake (ex. if someone had the wrong grade on their application and they were actually one of the top 60) so it is safer to just wait for the first 2 weeks for the 52 to either decline/accept and for any errors to be resolved. I was told they would have everything sorted out (most likely) by mid-May. My impaction score was 7.46
  12. When I signed up, they told me they were going to be sending out acceptance letters beginning of March. Then, they tell me it's beginning of April. Then, they told me they would send it out by end of April. I decided to pay for the orientation because I don't want to get kicked out if I DO get accepted but, my goodness, this is such a long wait. I wish I knew whether or not I've been accepted so I know whether I have to shell out more money to accept my follow-up schools or that my dreams have come true.
