Be part of our Happy New Year's video!

Attention nurses and nursing students of the world... it's time to share your well-wishes for the new year with nurses here and on our social media channels where an audience of millions will see this amazing group effort full of well wishes for the New Year! As an added bonus, two lucky participants will be selected to win a $100 Amazon.com gift card courtesy of Rasmussen College!

This mission, should you choose to accept it, is simple. Pull out your phone and record a short video wishing nurses from around the world a Happy New Year! If a video isn't your thing, snap a selfie or a groupie (a group photograph ? ) showing off your festive spirit in time for the New Year. Feel free to include what kind of nurse you are in your video!

Here are just a few examples:

• "From all of the nurses on the beautiful island of Oahu, Happy New Year!"
• "From the west coast of Africa to the rest of the world, Happy New Year to nurses everywhere!"
• "Happy New Year nurses from the city by the bay, San Francisco, California!"
• "From the nurses in Pocatello, Idaho, we want to wish you a Happy New Year!"

Get creative with the background. We want you to show off your location in this exciting project! Include your co-workers or classmates because celebrating the New Year is best with a group.

Do you need some fun ideas? Here's just a few:

• Record yourself at your nursing station with your co-workers
• Blowing noisemakers in front of your hospital's sign
• Jumping in the air in front of a palm tree (if you're so lucky!)
• Wish everyone a Happy New Year in your native language (be sure to include a translation in English as well)
• Be creative and have fun!!!

Please include your location (city, state or country) in the body of the email message (send it to [email protected]) when you submit your video or photo.

The video submissions will be compiled and featured on allnurses.com and our social media channels for millions of nurses to see on New Years Day 2017.
