OK, just kidding. Wondering why people ask total strangers on the internet for advise regarding major life changes. I don't want to name names, but a lot of people come to this site and ask questions better answered by people closer to the situation...

Per another thread, a nurse quit her job to teach fly fishing in Belize. I'm confused. Because I don't remember somebody asking allnurses for permission to do so. I didn't think nurses/future nurses/wannabe nurses could make decisions without internet approval.

That's too funny....I just saw this post and got excited that Hawaii might be in desperate need of nurses. You almost had me moving to Hawaii :) . Oh well, I guess I'm stuck in the desert.

Go to Hawaii anyway. Show up at a hospital in scrubs and tell them it's your first day. Report back to us to let us know what happens.

me: don't be a nurse! based on what you've said you'll most likely be miserable and hate it.

everyone else: you're so negative! just because you're a princess who can't deal with nursing doesn't mean you should crush other people's dreams!

People who get a BSN are people who clearly have too much time and money on their hands. And all you people like to look down your noses at the rest of the world thinking you're better. You're no better than anyone else. And ADNs can do everything better than BSNs can.

People, I need your opinions!! it's my dreeeeeeeaaammmmmm to be paid to sit at home and do nothing. Should I quit my job and pursue that dreeeaaammmm? I'm $800,000 in debt but I think if I don't try this now, I'll be too old as I'm already 23 years old.

I have a friend who is a 30 year Trauma ADN(in a level I) who precepts new BSN nurses. He told me that the only difference between ADN and BSN is the "BS" in BSN that is eventually endured by them politically in a hospital setting. He also says the only difference is a history course or two, and a couple of electives that will never be used in real life. lol. ADNs and BSNs sit for the SAME NCLEX.

I took the NCLEX about 5 minutes ago. Then I left and tried to get the good pop up when I was in the parking lot. NOTHING HAPPENEDDDD!!!!! NOTHING! So I put in my credit card information and I clicked the button to submit it, and they TOOK MY MONEY!!!!!!!!!! These people are nothing but thieves! And I just read 17 other threads here saying the EXACT same thing happened to ALL 17 PEOPLE but I decided to start my own thread to say that PV has gone WAY TOO FAR! I wanted to warn everyone that they fixed the trick and it was the rudest thing they EVER could have done. HOW DARE THEY MAKE US WAIT 48 HOURS for UNOFFICIAL results!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm here to tell you they JUST WANT TO STEAL YOUR MONEY!

I've been BULLIED by PEERSUN! I have every intention of calling these people and giving them a PEACE OF MY MIND! They can't just DO THIS!
