I am about 5 ft 1 and about 110 lbs and I have found that dickies scrubs fit well. I have the "hip flip" kind and the tops are smaller and the pants fit well. I think they have petite size also. I did order them off the internet, but some shops carry them. I would stay away from anything unisex, these are always way to big.
good luck!
I agree with the Dickies. Luckily my school uniform pants are Dickies so I look somewhat presentable (better than my old cheap plan of walmart scrub pants rolled up at the waist!). I also agree about the tops. My favorite scrub top is also by Dickies and has snaps in the front and a little elastic thing in the back that makes it a little more tailored.
Otherwise I just buy extra small tops and look like a 6 year old who borrowed her mom's scrubs.
Tops aren't an issue in size for me. (unless we are talking 2 piece bathing suits LOL)
I think the Man upstairs figured since He made me very short and thin that the least He could do was let me fill out something I wore..so he picked that He'd give me boobs. Yes, that I have plenty of. 4'11 95-100bls and walking around in a D cup! WHAT was HE thinking??
I'm going to the Uniform shop and try the Hip Flip Dickies. I saw them there but didn't notice that they had petite. Thanks for all the suggestions.
If anyone else has any ideas on brands of scrubs to fit please feel free to post. Ohhh, can't wait to see what brand of scrubs we have to get from the school for clinicals..we have to be sized and purchase them through the school! HOw much you want to bet I look frumpy!!
I am also 4'11", I get drawstring pants in Petite XS and I actually like Landau brand pants fit a little better than the Dickies although I am not sure if they may be more expensive, and I am sure fit is different for everyone. (whew that was a run on sentence)
The tops, well... I don't think they really make scrub tops to fit any female body in any kind of flattering way, unless you get them made by someone. (Where do the people on Greys Anatomy get their scrubs???) I always feel better with a fitted long or short sleeve t-shirt under a scrub top, without it I feel "half dressed" for some reason even though I got nothin' to show if ya know what I mean...
I know you didn't want to internet shop...but you should try
http://shop.scrubsonsale.com/category.sc?categoryId=21 They sell Xsmall scrubs in standard boring colors for $1.99 per peice. For that price, it's worth a try!

Ok, I hate this (please don't flame me, I am not complaining about my weight!) . I cannot find scrubs that fit me! I am 4 11 (barely) and around 95-100lbs (depending on the day LOL). Seems that they (the makers of clothing) think that if you are short you are also squat, and if your thin well then you must be tall! I can find them to fit in length (sort of) but they HANG off me and if I find them to fit correctly, I could make 3 pairs with the extra length!! GRRR.
And honestly, I won't even consider buying them and having them altered. I've done that before and it ends up costing more to alter them than it did to buy them!
So, any other short and thin ladies that can toss a few suggestions for brands to try? Internet purchasing isn't an option since I would actually have to try them on.
