Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I've been doing the questions but I also heard the questions on the cd are a lot easy. And how they might not help with the actual NCLEX exam. If this is true, then why is this book considered to help you pass the boards? I'm confused. Anyone passed the boards with just using saunders? Please, share your experience. Tell me how you studyied on the cd?

saunders comprehensive review and saunders Q&A...that's it.... :)

well for me i did only saunders book and CD for content and read books on Prioritization, Delegation and Assignment by Lacharity a lot of style of Q's came up during my exam and i read kaplan strategies at the beginning of my review and in between my 2months review..It was really helpful i guess because i passed the nclex..and as well Pray before, in between and after the day of studying..:saint:

I used Saunders (the most current addition). I would pop in the CD every night when the family was watching some mindless TV show. I'd do about 200 questions a night a few times a week. I passed the NCLEX PN on my first attempt. I also used Saunders during school. After a lecture, I'd pop the CD in and do tests on that specific subject, and before the test, I'd do the same thing. Saunders really did me well, I graduated with high honors and I obtained the highest score of all my classmates on our exit exam.

I parused through some of the other NCLEX prep books out there and honestly NONE of them really compared to the NCLEX test. I really don't think any amount of studying with any of the available guides, books, or CD's can really "prepare" you for the NCLEX. In and of itself, it was a test like no other.

i used saunders. i failed nclex-rn on monday.

sorry to hear that....im still using saunders for my review, its the only material im using right now. i hope it will work for me.

Does anyone know if there is any difference between the saunders 3rd and 4th edition. I have the 3rd edition which I have been using to study but I am not sure if I should stop drop everything, buy the 4th edition and start over. It will be good re-reading anyway but I am not sure if I should go thru this effort or continue and read other supplemental material instead. Any thoughts?

There are some changes with the 3rd to 4th and the 4th covers the new format questions

i'm starting to use saunders for the 2nd exam :)
