SFSU ELMSN Fall 2023

Hi everyone,

I just submitted my application to SFSU's ELMSN program for fall 2023. I didn't see a thread for this, so creating one here if you'd like to share your experiences, updates, and decisions! Based on the previous thread for fall 2022 it doesn't seem like we will hear from admissions until April. Best of luck to everyone!

Did they conduct interviews?

They will not be holding interviews this application cycle. Which kind of sucks imo since we won't get the chance to make an impression on the faculty. They also only select 20 of us to admit for Fall.

Yes, this is what I was told when I called in early Feb to see where they were with the application process.

So did mine when I heard this news! SFSU is my last hope for staying in California for nursing school. Otherwise, I'll be moving to Washington next month ??.

What other schools did y'all get into in case sfsu doesn't choose you? Cause 20 is such a scary number LOL

I got off the waitlist at USF! So if SFSU doesn't choose me, I'll most likely go there.

I already got in to two other schools so most likely I won't be going to SFSU even if I get in. But I doubt I'll get in LOL they had over 600 applicants.
