SFSU ELMSN Fall 2023

Hi everyone,

I just submitted my application to SFSU's ELMSN program for fall 2023. I didn't see a thread for this, so creating one here if you'd like to share your experiences, updates, and decisions! Based on the previous thread for fall 2022 it doesn't seem like we will hear from admissions until April. Best of luck to everyone!

It will be a long wait until April to hear back from SFSU! I applied to USF's ME-MSN program in September and heard in November that I was waitlisted. Ultimately I did not make the cohort for this Spring, unfortunately. It was my second time applying. I applied to Samuel Merrit's ELMSN-FNP program in early December and await their decision (by March, hopefully).

Yes the waiting process is brutal. Have you gotten any acceptances?

Hi!

Thank you for creating this thread. I submitted my app for SFSU's ELMSN program for Fall '23.

I applied to 4 programs total (2 starting Summer '23 and 2 starting fall '23).

I got responses back from the Summer programs already ( one acceptance and one interview). However, I read that we won't hear back from SFSU until April ?.

The school I was accepted into wants my decision and deposit by Feb 15. Wondering if anyone else is in a similar situation where you are required to make a decision for admission waaaay before hearing from other schools. 

What other programs have you guys applied to?

No idea. You can check your SF State Gateway to see if there's any changes there.

I think next month, based on the previous year's thread.

No I haven't received anything yet. I called and they said mid-April

Last year they released emails April 15.
