Hi everyone,
I just submitted my application to SFSU's ELMSN program for fall 2023. I didn't see a thread for this, so creating one here if you'd like to share your experiences, updates, and decisions! Based on the previous thread for fall 2022 it doesn't seem like we will hear from admissions until April. Best of luck to everyone!

Congrats to everyone who got admitted! And good luck to those who were denied. ❤️
I love that affirmation! I was also rejected and definitely bummed out but ready to make my next move. I had to look in the mirror and remind myself that the denial does not directly reflect on how worthy I am! we all worked so hard and deserve it, and our time will come when it's meant to to be ♥️
Sending hugs to all those who got rejection letters and best wishes to those waitlisted. What a rollercoaster this has been. You all will get into the programs you were meant to, either now or another cycle.
To fellow admits, I can't wait to meet you all ?

Congratulations to everyone who made it in. The chances were only 3.3% (if 600 ppl applied for 20 seats) so that's very impressive!! I wish you the best.
My portal still shows no change, but I did get my admissions email. It was worded kinda weird, this is what it says:
"The School of Nursing Admissions Committee is pleased to inform you that we are recommending the SF State Division of Graduate Studies offer you formal admission into the Entry-Level MSN program for fall 2023. The recommendation is contingent upon:
You being eligible for Fall 2023 Graduate Studies at SF State as determined by the University Office Division of Graduate Studies.
Additional Information
Second baccalaureate applicants will also receive a formal offer of acceptance from the appropriate SF State Office of Admissions Graduate Studies. Follow the directions provided on that notice to accept the university's offer of admission. Please allow at least two weeks to receive the university's letter."
I have a few questions (for everyone but maybe especially those who were accepted): did you guys submit a letter verification for health related work with your applications? Did you have a cover letter and objective section for your resume? And in your personal statements did you address the questions that are listed on the BSN page?
thanks guys! And congrats to those who were accepted as well as best of luck to those on the waitlist ?

First off, congrats!! It sounds like you got accepted. Or that they are recommending you admission contingent on your eligibility for SF State Graduate Studies.
Do you know of any reason you wouldn't be eligible for Graduate Studies?
