Hi everyone..
I just scheduled my exam awhile ago and finally taking it this September 15, 2008.
I was looking for the September 2008 Support Group and found their is none in existence so i figured to start one.
I am currently on Saunder's 4th Ed. and some other references like, Exam Cram, Illustrated Study Guide for the NCLEX-RN Exam, Prioritization, Delegation Assignment by Linda LaCharity and other Q and A books by Saunder's and Mosby.
But i am focusing more on Saunder's, i just like to have other references to understand topics which i am weak in.
I wasn't a very good student before or wasn't that much focus with my studies while in school. That's why i am very anxious now with my upcoming exam.
Now I am giving my best in my review and hoping and praying that i may pass it on the first try.
I really want and dreampt of becoming an RN and finally i am a test closer to becoming one.
Good Luck to us and God Bless.
I just took the last Q Trainer from Kaplan. I thought it was really hard, and I know people say that you're doing good to get in the 50's on this one. I was thrilled to score a 69%. That makes me feel more confident. I'll be sure to review the rationales as well. :)
can you give me the website to the Q Trainer? Thanks!

Try the sample Qbank first before you purchase.I find the same questions on Kaplan and Saunders for RNs.
That's interesting I've used both Saunders and Kaplan and haven't noticed similiar questions. I like both programs, we got Kaplan for free through school, and so far, my school has a 100% pass rate for my class!
OK, I'm starting to freak. My test is not until the 23rd, but now I'm seriously thinking of changing it to the end of October simply because I don't think I'll be ready. I've been studying, but think I'm losing knowlege not retaining it. I'm remebering obscure stuff, but supposedly practical things I miss. I'll just continue to plug away at questions, reading rationales, etc. My new job starts the 15th which is totally going to screw with my studies the last week before my test anyways. The only proble is, if I change it there are no late morning or afternoon test times....at all for my test site. I'm not a morning person, but don't have a choice but to test at 8am if I change it. I really think I need to do so, but I'm also wondering if I should just give it a shot anyway.
am I just being a worry-wort?:urgycld:
I don't think anyone ever feels truly prepared. How are you scoring on practice qustions? Because, IMO, more importnant than retaining information is being able to critialy think and answer those higher level questions. *hugs* :icon_hug:
