Hi everyone..
I just scheduled my exam awhile ago and finally taking it this September 15, 2008.
I was looking for the September 2008 Support Group and found their is none in existence so i figured to start one.
I am currently on Saunder's 4th Ed. and some other references like, Exam Cram, Illustrated Study Guide for the NCLEX-RN Exam, Prioritization, Delegation Assignment by Linda LaCharity and other Q and A books by Saunder's and Mosby.
But i am focusing more on Saunder's, i just like to have other references to understand topics which i am weak in.
I wasn't a very good student before or wasn't that much focus with my studies while in school. That's why i am very anxious now with my upcoming exam.
Now I am giving my best in my review and hoping and praying that i may pass it on the first try.
I really want and dreampt of becoming an RN and finally i am a test closer to becoming one.
Good Luck to us and God Bless.
So I took my exam for the 3rd time yesterday and had ALL 265 Q's. A LOT of pharma, prioritization, over 10 of the select all that apply and around 5 calculation questions. When I was at Q#140 I took a break and the proctor at PearsonVue said,"oh no, they're gonna make u take all the questions!" so I guess it is a random thing they do???? My stomach was growling, I was getting hypoglycemic, and the questions just wouldn't end!
I walked out feeling absolutely defeated since the last time I took the NCLEX was with 263 Q's and failed so I'm praying history does not repeat itself because I do NOT want to go through this again!
we can do this!!
So I'm taking it today at 11 I was cool, calm, and collective. In my program we took these things called ERI and I passed every single one of them. I've been studying and I feel like I know it but now I'm spazzing out I got the upset stomach, elevated HR, and just the all out freak out HELP! cant go take my test like this. My biggest worry is my whole test is gonna be pharm and well I know my drug but not well enough and a friend of mine said his whole test was just that.
