Correct me if I'm wrong Doc but I think HIPPA spelled backwards =(A) (P)rovider and/or (P)atient(s) stopping (I)nsurance companies from dictating and/or running Quality (H)ealthcare!..I heard another Nurse saying you can't say "never and/or Always in Nursing??? but I have to disagree.. "I promise too ALWAYS put my patients Health care needs first! In other words..." ,I simply will, with my training, skills,judgement and gut instinct,~ treat my patients the way I would want my Loved ones treated"Doctors are burying there mistakes because..."meet em' treat em' street em' doesn't ALWAYS work!especially when your really REALLY Sick! Healthcare and insurance companies have NO business under the same umbrella of saving lives! just sayin'...truth hurts sometimes and is being sooo ignored!
Nurse: There were no incident reports, everyone worked as a team, call lights were answered within seconds, Dr. orders were neatly written, each pt and their family members were happy, I took all of my breaks, and I got out of work on time.
Psychiatrist : That sounds wonderful. What's the problem?
