There I was standing over Mrs. Smith ready to give her the 0900 meds when she says "Dear, I'm not prescribed tic tacs, at least not yet!"

And they think the patients need the Xanax!!

I was up to my elbows in poop, vomited on by a patient, and helped in the OR with an open heart surgery, but doc, I had a heart attack when I saw that spider!

I should have become a doctor so I could have nurses with a sense of humor to get me through the day!

A nurses doctor visit.

Specializes in Cath/EP lab, CCU, Cardiac stepdown.

"I feel tired all the time, I have this sense of impending doom, and I don't have a social life anymore. Doctor, am I depressed?"

"No, you're just in your clinical"

I thought it was over when I graduated Nursing school. But Then... But Then... There was the NCLEX

"And then it hit me... I had never really known what a 'Code Brown' was until that day..."

Doctor, I have lost touch with reality - it's psychosis I'm sure! My patient's family said "Thank you for your care" to me!

I really don't have time to lie down here ..can't you just follow me on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram and send the necessary Meds for me ?

Sometimes I feel the need to wrestle with my inner demons..... other times ...well we just hug it out

When I told you during our first session that I was normal...I may have exaggerated slightly
