Yayyyy Monique and yayyy to all of us for getting through the first step of our journey!!!!! My name is Natasha and I will be attending Greater Lowell Tech in Lowell MA. My program is 10 months long and its gonna be intense but I'm ready for it!! Kudos for starting this thread:D:lol2:
Hey Natasha!!!!
Yes a 10 month program will be very intense..but thats ok!! You will be fine and I'm here for you whenever you need me. We need more dedicated and committed nurses. Are you studying and prep before classes start.
Awww thanks Monique and I'm here for you as well! Your right we definitely need more dedicated and supportive people in this field. Everyone should be helping and educating each other. I plan on taking a human anatomy and physiology class this summer at a local community college to get a head start. I have also been playing chess every night with my boyfriend to exercise my brain. I also have a boatload of nursing books that I've been reading for the past couple of months. They have all been extremely informative. How about you??

Congrats to all that have been accepted! I've been accepted for a 20 month (2 year) LPN program through my local community college.
It's a great school (New Brunswick Community College - Miramichi), located in eastern Canada. I'm so excited to start and I cannot wait for summer to get over so I can start school... FINALLY!
I plan on taking a Medical Terminology course over the summer to get more acquainted with the lingo so I'm not completely out in space when we start learning about stuff in school.
I also plan on buying all my supplies over the summer, especially my stethoscope! Even if I don't know how to use it, I sure want to play with it .
Good luck to everyone! Just a few short months and we'll be actual nursing students!

I'll be attending (hopefully - just gotta get the 12000 tuition figured out!) American Medical Institute in Houston for the 12 month lvn program.
Soooooooooo excited! And a bit nervous hoping I'll be able to find work when I graduate.

Congrats everyone!!
I will be starting an LPN program in September. The program is 18 months long, with summers off. I'm very excited but a little bit nervous, especially since I'll be working 32 hours while in the program. Thank God my job is very flexible.
