Seminole State Spring 2012 Generic/Concurrent Applicant

Published

Hey all, I was wondering if anyone else is on this website that is applying to the upcoming spring evening term for SSC and if so, what are your thoughts. Are you nervous? I am!

Has anyone completed their immunization form for UCF?

I have my records but it looks like I only had 1 MMR vaccination, the blue form requires 2. Ive made an appointment with my doctor to have my immunizations records transferred to UCF's form but he does not do immunizations. Wondering now if I should even bother with the appointment.

Zeegermans, thanks for the update. I'm glad to hear you are doing well in the Fall Program. Welcome to the boards crna2me and I agree with Dawniepoo, I hope we all get in.

I contemplated getting started on it, but I didn't want to give myself bad luck by getting too far ahead. I will have to have titers done since I haven't been immunized since 1982.

kirbycrusier, I have not started anything with UCF as of yet. I am waiting to figure out if I have been accepted into the programs before I begin this process. Though I will most likely still attend UCF, whether or not I am accepted, I am waiting until next month to begin this process.

Ok. I guess I just need to calm down and relax. lol. I'm just so nervous. I can't wait to get these next few weeks over with. I think I will go ahead and get a few UCF admission requirements out of the way anyway, just in case. It will give me a few less things to stress about if I get in. Its better than sitting around staring at the mailbox. LOL.

Good Luck to all of us....

I did, but that's only because I transferred to UCF after I finished my AA over the summer, and it had to be done before I could register. I just brought my blue form and my titer records in to the health center (actually, to a little office upstairs in the health center), and they took care of it. See if your doctor can just give you a copy of your immunizations/titers and take them in along with the blue form and the UCF form, and you should be golden.

I figured that I would just wait, and then UCF officially accepted me/told me that I could register/start taking classes the Wednesday before classes started, and it was chaos trying to get everything done. I would just do it now, as you have time, to avoid rushing later when you have even more on your plate.

I actually agree with meliska13. I spoke with another student and they stated once you receive your acceptance it's hectic trying to get everything done before school starts.

OK then, I guess it's time to get started! What's the blue form? I got a card from UCF yesterday stating I need to schedule orientation too. I need to start that process too I guess.

One week down... Five to Seven weeks to go.

Man, that was a long week! We are in big trouble. I may need therapy.:uhoh3:

@dawniepoo... I started my process this week with UCF. I thought we could take the orientation online, but it won't allow us to take the orientation online due to our major. Hmm... Anyone have any advice? Did I miss something? In addition, I agree its been a long week; however, we are one week closer to the decisions. :)
