Has anyone applied for the Spring 2010 term? If so have u heard back?

I don't understand. A NO ! Again! I finished in summer of 2008! Can someone help me understand this cuz I for certain don't.

I know that sucks... If I didn't get in this time I was going to check fl hospital I don't mine the religion class but tuition is a bit much. But i guess you'll do what it takes... I live by the Orlando airport and scc or the night class were not my first choice, but I needed to get in. I'm also engaged and their is no way I can plan a wedding while in the program. I guess I shouldn't be complaining... If you have any questions about fl hospital I have a friend in the program,she LOVES it their, just let me know...

No alternate. Nothing. The letter said everyone from 2008. 2009 went to cat 2. So why didn't I get in. I have been waiting for 1 year to get in and now I have to wait for another. I don't understand.

Shalli, if you don't mind me asking. When did you finish your pre-req's and what is your GPA?

Good for you Shalli! I got my concurrent letter yesterday and didn't get in. :sniff: However, since you got in the 2nd time around, maybe that'll be my case.

Thanks Ms.B_Well. I'll get there one day. I'm just taking classes to get my AA and be ready to get my Bachelor's if I decide to do so. Better than just sitting around that's for sure!

Your welcome. Yes, get your AA (I already did in '05) and don't stop there! Sadly, I've just been sitting around b/c I'm done...now I gotta reapply if I don't get into SCC's program...which I'm not too confident about now that I've read all this stuff about selection.

I am getting very nervous reading these post. I will be done with my pre-reqs next semester and plan to apply for spring 2011. From what I am gathering from everyone's post their is a great chance that I may not get in. The school says they don't have a waiting list but from what everyone is describing its seems they do. So far I have a 4.0 GPA with my pre-reqs. My current 2 classes I have A's, so my only worry will be next semester with AP 2 & Micro.... sheesh!

To all that have got accepted... congratulations!

To the ones denied... keep your chin up and don't give up!

I completed prereqs last yr but graduated with AA end is summer 09. I applied to scc for fall and denied, I also applied to UCF/BCC and UCF/DBCC for this fall and also denied. I went to UCF and asked why I didn't get in with 3.55 GPA they said the cut off was 3.60 I was so mad... So I wasn't gonna give up... I was willing to drive anywhere, my next choice was St Pete in Tampa... I think you need to show persistance... Good luck

Lizstory - I would contact ***** ASAP to find out what's going on. Let her know you met all the critera and see what she says.

My stepsister went to Fl Hospital as well, she loved it too. I looked and I would need Chemistry, Religion, Fitness, and Microcomputers. So basically I wouldn't be able to get into the nursing program until Aug 2010 either. Blah!

I did I guess I will never be able to get in since a 2.98 gpa. I feel as I just wasted 5 years of my life. I have to figure out what I am going to do.
