I received my letter Saturday too for the regular program! I was a bit bummed that I didn't get into the Concurrent program (again) when I have an AA already and the UCF pre-reqs (Chemistry, Stats, etc...) completed. Was hoping to get my BSN asap, ya know? I'll keep applying though! I won't go away! However, I am forever grateful that I've been accepted to SCC's program and that I'm one step closer. Congrats to those that got in!

Congratulations Ymommie! :yeah:What awesome news to come home to! I hope to make it in next Fall...gosh it's so far away! Please follow up and let us hopefuls know about your "to-dos" that must get done before next year and how the program is going.

how cool. i took professor *** during the summer too! i took it everyday () except fridays and managed to get an "a." so you got into the concurrent without finishing stats? interesting stuff! my recalculated is a 3.7 but i finished my final pre-req (a&p ii) in summer 2009 and took stats alongside (w/prof.**********). maybe taking a&p ii during the summer spoiled my chances. well, congrats and good luck mell bell! i wish i could've been there next spring with ya.

I can officially announce that my old butt didn't get into EITHER program. Guess I gotta look at my other options or apply for the Day Program. This most certainly blows.

I'm sorry about your frustrations. :icon_hug:Do you think you can retake one of those pre-req classes so you can increase your re-calculated gpa? For instance, I took Gen. Psychology for a 2nd time and replaced my previous grade with an "A."

Mell, was 3.6 your recalculated gpa and you finished in Spring '09?

Liz, is 2.98 you're cumulative GPA or re-calculated GPA?

Your welcome. Yes, get your AA (I already did in '05) and don't stop there! Sadly, I've just been sitting around b/c I'm done...now I gotta reapply if I don't get into SCC's program...which I'm not too confident about now that I've read all this stuff about selection.

Good for you Shalli! I got my concurrent letter yesterday and didn't get in. However, since you got in the 2nd time around, maybe that'll be my case.

Dang grrl, I'm so sorry to hear that you didn't get accepted again. I admire you for continuing your education by signing up for classes and not giving up. :yelclap:

I'm irritated too that it has taken this long. I mean, I was losing sleep last week b/c I kept getting worked up about checking the mail. Now, I'm just like, it'll come when it comes but DAMN, we shouldn't have to wait this long for a response.

Wow. Still nothing. I'm guessing letters will appear in mailboxes starting tomorrow (Wed).

Man, I've been at SCC forever. I started there in 1999! Already have my AA (2005). I just finished my UCF pre-reqs (Stats & Chemistry) this summer and my SCC pre-reqs earlier this Spring.

I hear ya. I'd want to know too, that way you can be at ease while on the seas...lol.
