Has anyone applied for the Spring 2010 term? If so have u heard back?
waggs73 - did you apply for the fall 2009 rn program, not the concurrent? my letter along with another classmates both had all the info that i posted previously about the number that applied (approx. 300) and the gpa to get in. maybe they have different letters for the different programs? that's the only reason i could think of for different letters going out. strange. mine did have the info about applying for the other programs further down in the letter though.
mrg_abg - congrats!!!! great for you!
Got my letter and it's a "no" again.
For those that want to know the requirements, here's the info, they received over 300 applications.
"The minimum admission criteria for this class were: category 1, finishing prerequisite courses in the fall 2008 term or before. Because we could not accommodate all of the students who finished in the spring 2009 term we went to the second tier of the selection process, recalculated GPA. Category 1 applicants who finished in the spring 2009 term with a minimum recalculated GPA of 3.89 or higher were admitted."
This is what I expected, hence why I'm signed up for classes already in Jan. So August 2010 it is!

Dang grrl, I'm so sorry to hear that you didn't get accepted again. I admire you for continuing your education by signing up for classes and not giving up. :yelclap:
FL Hospital has different pre-req's, but I'm going to look into them again to see what else they need. I know Chemistry, Religion, something with physical fitness/exercise, also.
VCC is just so much further away and they say you don't get to pick your campus they send you to either campus.
There just aren't enough schools, instructions, or clinical locations for all of us!

I got mail today. Yay I'm in!!
I however have a question about the classes. I was looking at those offered for NUR 1020C. I'm assuming that you choose one but why do they have the same class #? Also, what is the 12:00 class on Wednesday?
