Seattle University Transfer 2019

Published

Hey everyone! I didn't see a thread for 2019's transfer cohort hopefuls so I figured I'd start one. Everyone get their applications submitted on time? :)

Just checked my portal and saw they posted the thanks but no thanks letter. Good luck to everyone who got interviews!

Unfortunately, I also got the letter. Good luck to everyone else! You'll all do wonderfully!

Has anyone gotten a invite for interviews yet?? I'm heading out for vacation for a week and I need to knnnnooowwwww. It's killing me.

Alykats23, invites to interview went out last week! If you didn't receive any notification from the school, I'd try to reach out to them ASAP.

Hello all,

I also applied to SU and started becoming concerned when I saw others received an interview invite around 2/5-2/6 and I didn't. However, due to the snow closures I was unable to actually talk to someone to see if interview invites were sent out in waves until the end of last week but when I did the answer was " they were still in the process of contacting students for interviews". I hope this helps clarify some of the concern regarding that.

I did not receive my interview invite until 2/15!! Any advice from current or past students about the interview process with regards to questions asked would be sooooooo appreciated! I am pretty nervous/excited!

BrianaMarie, thanks for letting us know! I didn't realize they were sending them out in waves. I would assume they're finished sending them out now, though, since the last day to schedule the interview was on 2/15 I believe? Good luck to ya!

Bluepurplegreen, Thank you so much! Same to you!!

Hey everyone!

Does anyone know how many people they interviewed this year and how many will be accepted?

I just had my interview and asked that same question. They are interviewing around 175 people for 80-90 slots. They try to keep the final number closer to 80 than 90. I think my interview went really well! The staff all seem so engaging and encouraging which is awesome. Good luck to everyone!

Hi! I don’t think I can share the exact questions but just make sure you think about what you want them to know about you. It’s your chance to show them who you are as a person and not just on paper! The questions definitely reflect that they want to know who you are. Everyone is so nice and encouraging so try to relax! Good luck!
