Extra books?
Hello out there! I was wondering if anyone had any TEA's test study materials? I am looking to get a better score then the first time I took it but I am in a financial bind and also hate to be wasteful; if anyone had anything laying around that they are no longer using that they could sell me for cheap or let me have I would really appreciate it! Let me know and we can chat in private. If anyone else had any tips or great resources I would appreciate it. Thanks again!

Shoreline Community College: WA - Fall 2019
I see now. I added up the volunteer hours wrong, typo during my calculations. Thanks! Darn, I am only at 95 points. ? I didn't know the starting point was 105. Is it impossible to get in under that 105 mark? Guess I'll just try again in the Fall with a better GPA and more volunteer hours.

Shoreline Community College: WA - Fall 2019
I have pulled it up before but I don't think I'm calculating it correctly. When I add up the max amount of points I get more then 116 so I'm assuming something isn't quite right. For the grade calculations do you find the product of your gpa of the course and the number given or how does that work? For example, the first one asks for my grade in ENG 101 and then to multipy it by 2.5. So I just multiply, 4 x 2.5? Because when I do this all the way down with continuous 4.0's I get a higher score with everything else combined rather then then what they state the max is (116).

Shoreline Community College: WA - Fall 2019
Hey everyone. So the application was due on April 3rd, hopefully everyone got it in on time. As far as I've heard the results are sent out 6 weeks after the deadline so that puts us at May 15th BUT I was also told it could be any time "before May 31st" at the latest. Has anyone heard otherwise or gotten a confirmation on one or the other? I'm going to reach out to the email provided on the main page for questions and concerns and will get back to anyone interested. Otherwise anyone hear anything else regarding the application process? Any other questions or comments anyone wants to post, feel free. A little about me; I am a current PCT with Virginia Mason obviously certified with WA, entered in over 700 hours of employment, 100 hours of volunteer with direct patient interaction at UWMC, barely passed my PAX (I did well on everything but the comprehensive/reading area which I should have brushed up on, so shame on me), but was able to enter in two extra classes (medical terminology, and human patho.) on the application. I currently stand with a 3.4 GPA but am also currently enrolled in A&P1 for the second time around for a better grade. If I am luckily accepted into Shoreline I will still complete the class for a solidifying review before the program. If anyone knows where I stand in terms of acceptance or denial feel free to comment; I am honestly planning on getting denied until my GPA is boosted (especially since my core bio class grade is what dropped it) which is okay and realistic thinking but maybe I still stand a chance? Crossing my fingers. Hoping to hear from anyone else out there dealing with the daily grind of one day becoming a nurse.
