Hey everyone! I didn't see a thread for 2019's transfer cohort hopefuls so I figured I'd start one. Everyone get their applications submitted on time? :)

Hello! I also applied to the program :)
Good luck, Gaby! And thanks for the offer, xmuhhree. ?
It looks like last year the interview invites came in the first two weeks of February. Just a waiting game now!

Hi There!I have been slowly/quietly watching this forum. Figured might as well join the squad of the waiting gamers. I applied to SU as well. A little nervous due to past academic history. That would probably be the only reason I wont get in. Which is unfortunate because I was 17-18 years old and was so unsure of myself as a student. Didnt have my priorities straight...
Made a complete 360 change though when I transferred to a community college. Hopefully they will see the grade change trend. I also finished all my pre-reqs and have an associates degree in arts and sciences as of December 2017.
Having all the pre-reqs done, I am not taking classes right now. I am a current full time CNA and have a phlebotomy license. So I took what felt like an extra step to show my interest in healthcare.
To also add no word of an interview for me. However, I stalked previous forums and it seemed that it was in the month of February that they sent out invites for interviews. It does not seem to be to consistent of what day in February. I think it is also sent via e-mail.
Sending good vibes and thoughts to everyone who applied.

Hi everyone! I'm glad to see someone started a thread for 2019 transfer students. I, too, applied to SU's BSN program. It will be interesting to see how this goes for me as I have a bad academic history from 10-11 years ago, but I decided to go back to school 2 years ago and now have a 3.78 GPA. I am definitely worried that my previous grades will prevent me from getting accepted. I am also a Licensed Practical Nurse and I have been working full time as one for 7 years. This is my first time applying to SU -- I applied to UW last year and made it to the proctored essay, but did not make the final cut. As of now, no invite for the interview but I think it's a little too early for that. Good luck to everyone!
@Cashlee My hope is SU leaves the past in the past. So I am right there with ya! I would think being an LPN you would be an automatic in. Just goes to show how competitive it really is.
@beautyguruRN it seems like we have similar backgrounds! Very best of luck to you, I am rooting for you!
So interesting to see everyone's different backgrounds! Looking forward to (hopefully!) hearing about invites sometime next week! The waiting game. :)
