Seattle University Transfer 2019

Hey everyone! I didn't see a thread for 2019's transfer cohort hopefuls so I figured I'd start one. Everyone get their applications submitted on time? :)

Oh, interesting. Mine has just said "Under Review" the entire time, and under Detail View, my current date is 1/31. I'd recommend reaching out to the school soon if you intend to, though, because interviews can only be scheduled until 2/15. Sorry guys!

That is interesting about the status updates. Mine still says "pending faculty review" online but I received an email inviting me to interview, so I don't believe online is accurate. I would reach out to confirm.

So weird. Mine says "under Review" and the date received is 2/5/2019 even though I submitted the application online long before the cut off date. I'll give them a call asap, the campus is closed tomorrow, hopefully, someone will be there Tuesday.

My application is similar with being under review and my date received is 2/7/2019. Odd. I’m going to try calling tomorrow. I wonder if they are delayed with reviewing applications due to the snow days the school has had.

Hi GabyC, my application went "under review" on friday (2/10) and find it weird it'd take this long to hear from them either extending an interview invite or not. I was also going to call them tomorrow (if they're open) because I am very anxious!

My advice is prepare for general interview questions, such as your strengths, your weaknesses, why SU specifically, and of course, why you want to be a nurse. Process is short. Also, if you have clinical experience I would try and incorporate that into your answers if at all possible. I always think giving examples to back up your answers is better than just stating something.

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to say that I am in the same boat as many of you; my online status says "under review" and my submission date changed from the actual date that I submitted it! So weird! Unfortunately, I have not gotten an interview invite. I sent an email to the admissions team last night, hopefully someone will get back to me soon. If anyone else gets an update as to why some of us are still "under review" and haven't heard anything, please share! I know everyone is very anxiously waiting!
