Anyone who interviewed already heard back yet?

I'm wondering the same thing! Also, I'm assuming the next round of invites will go out on Monday? There are no interviews this weekend, correct? Still crossing my fingers for an interview, but I'm starting to lose some hope

Just got accepted into PLU and received the official letter today via email. I also applied to SU and haven't heard anything from them yet. It's making me feel anxious because we have to accept within 3 weeks or else forfeit our spot to waitlisted applicants. If SU doesn't come out with the interviews and acceptance letters within 3 weeks, I may just go with PLU because I don't want to risk not getting into anything. Come on SU! Keep up the good work. I know it must be crazy and hectic with 400+ applicants! ^_^

SU is still sending out invites. I got an e-mail this evening to interview on the 23rd (so not all interviews are on Saturdays apparently). I would imagine that they do not start sending out letters until after all interviews for a track are completed. Assuming they interview through the end of February I would expect decisions starting after the first week of March. My understanding is that last year's applicants were notified around mid-March.

@MSNHopeful: Congratulations on PLU! I assume that it's the Doctorate path? Did you visit both schools before applying? If so, did one campus speak to you more?

@Verene: What track are you applying to and get the interview for?

I applied to the Nurse Midwifery APNI program and have not heard anything yet! I called two weeks ago and the kind woman on the phone said to just hold out until the end of February. My application still says, "Pending faculty review". Yikes. Crossing fingers. I am on the waitlist at Columbia and have been denied from UCSF and USD. Still waiting to hear from USF and U of Vermont.

It's the MSN program for non-nurses who have completed a bachelor's degree (ELMSN). It is an advanced generalist nursing degree. I intend on going forward with the DNP afterwards though (2 additional years) in Family Nurse Practice (they also have Adult Geriatric NP).

I only visited SU and attended the open house. I haven't visited PLU yet, but at this point getting in anywhere is fine. I really like SU being set in the busy streets of Seattle. I'm sure there are plenty of organizations and ways to get involved in the community around Seattle while you study there. Tacoma is definitely smaller of a city than Seattle, but this kind of setting might be more conducive for my studying. I like how both embody a Christian ethos as I am a follow of Christ myself.

The PLU website says they only offer two advanced practice specialties- FNP and PMHNP (psychiatric mental health) and the PMHNP is currently "Pending board of regents and nursing commission approval."

Where did you see that they offer the AGNP track? (I'm a bit interested in that track because I applied for that track for SU)

Whoops! Sorry I mistakes it for something else I read. Disregard the AGNP comment. I wonder if that pending message means they aren't accredited yet? Well that's in 2 years so if that is the case, it doesn't apply to our MSN program. Hopefully they get that approved before people decide to apply to it (if it means they aren't accredited) I think various universities have AGNP certification post-master's.
