Vanderbilt MSN 2016
In the Financial Aid Summary 2016-2017 attached to an email from Vanderbilt, it states that the deadline for completing the FAFSA, in order to receive financial aid from Vanderbilt as a nursing student, is March 15. It can take a few days to process, so it would be best not to wait until the actual deadline.

Direct Entry 2016: Pros/Cons of UCSF, Yale, UPenn, Vandy, Columbia, OHSU, & SeattleU
I am trying to decide between several of these programs for FNP. The contributions so far have been very helpful! If anyone else is also looking at Emory, I would be happy to hear what you think. Pros, for me, include a wealth of clinical and research opportunities, proximity to the CDC and other professional schools, and receiving a BSN. The main downside is the cost, which is significantly higher than the other programs.

Futuremidwife1991, I was also wondering about this; thanks for checking! That is great news!

Seattle University APNI 2016 Applicants
Here is the text from the email for anyone who missed it. "Thank you for your MSN application for Seattle University. Now understanding the timeline for decisions will help you plan accordingly. Nursing faculty are busy reading completed application files now. Applicants invited to interview will be called or emailed by Nursing staff over the next month for interview dates currently scheduled between January 30-February 27. The timing of admission decisions will vary by specialization starting in mid-February. Best wishes to you in the weeks and months ahead!"

Seattle University APNI 2016 Applicants
Happy New Year! We are getting closer to a decision! The SU website says they will be reviewing applications in the 2nd and 3rd weeks of January. It looks like interview invitations went out in waves starting at the beginning of February last year. My AppTracker also says "Pending Faculty Review", which sounds promising.

Emory ABSN/MSN 2016 Program
I applied just before the December 15th deadline and received an acceptance a couple of days ago (FNP). I did not have any additional items on my checklist.

Seattle U APNI 2016 Perpsective Student Questions
I just started a new thread, Seattle University APNI 2016 Applicants, so we can have a more specific page for this year's applicants.

Seattle University APNI 2016 Applicants
I thought I would start a thread for applicants to the 2016 MSN for Non-Nurses: Advanced Practice Nursing Immersion at Seattle University. I am applying for the Family Nurse Practitioner specialty. Any other applicants for this cycle? Questions and comments regarding the program and admissions process are welcome!

Yale GEPN 2016
I received an interview invite for FNP. I am also from the western U.S. and plan to travel to campus. It seems flying into NYC and taking the train from there will probably be my best option. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to this thread and best of luck, regardless of your interview decision!

Yale GEPN 2016
Hi everyone! I am relieved to have my application in and am anxiously waiting until December 15. I read through the GEPN 2015 thread. One of last year's applicants received an email from Yale Admissions that said around 480 apply, 200 are interviewed, and 120-125 are admitted for a class size of 80. So around a 40% chance of getting an interview and 60% chance of acceptance after interviewing. I assume it will be relatively similar this year.
