I thought I would start a thread for applicants to the 2016 MSN for Non-Nurses: Advanced Practice Nursing Immersion at Seattle University. I am applying for the Family Nurse Practitioner specialty. Any other applicants for this cycle? Questions and comments regarding the program and admissions process are welcome!

I declined my acceptance for FNP this past Friday so hopefully the waitlist will start moving for you guys who are still waiting. Good luck everyone! :)

Hey peeps. I applied to the FNP track and was waitlisted like so many people. I didn't hear differently by April 15th, so I counted myself out. In fact, on the morning of the 28th I had just signed an electronic lease on a new apartment. Literally five minutes later I get an email saying my application status had changed. I got in!!! But I had also just signed a legally binding lease with a $4000 buyout fee. Thankfully, I called them right away and they agreed to cancel the lease with no cost! What a crazy sequence of events.

I'm so grateful that I was accepted to the FNP track. Apparently there was a last minute declination and my number came up.
