Seattle University APNI 2016 Applicants

I thought I would start a thread for applicants to the 2016 MSN for Non-Nurses: Advanced Practice Nursing Immersion at Seattle University. I am applying for the Family Nurse Practitioner specialty. Any other applicants for this cycle? Questions and comments regarding the program and admissions process are welcome!

In for FNP!! I didn't get an email but someone in the fb group said the app tracker had been updated for her without email notification so I checked mine.

I've gone ahead and created a Facebook group for admitted students if you guys would like to discuss the program there. Just search "Seattle University APNI 2016."

My app tracker still says "pending faculty review." I am sure I'm wait listed or rejected though.

Thanks for the updates guys. Mine still says pending faculty review and I applied to the Nurse Midwifery track. Probably waitlist or denial. Congrats everyone who has been accepted! Work hard! Make us proud!

Just found out I was waitlisted and really have no idea what that means. I haven't received any communication from the school only a change of status in the App Tracker.

Will we be able to know our position on the waiting list at all? :(

I'm not sure about wait list position. I'm guessing they'll know after those that have accepted either commit to the program or go elsewhere. (I think we had approximately a week and a half)

I received a status update saying I was not admitted. I'll be attending PLU this June then! Good luck to everyone still waiting to hear back and also with all your future endeavors!

This is my first time posting but I've been following this post religiously to get updates so I figured I should pay it forward and give you my update.

I'm a RN-MSN applicant but they interviewed us all at the same time and I believe they somehow combine the programs so I think my info is applicable.

I interviewed on February 7th and on March 17th I received the email to check my application status and I was admitted to the Family Nurse Practitioner track! I have yet to receive anything in the mail about it so I'm hanging on to that little 5 letter phrase written in my application status bar.
